Fred was born in Chicago, Illinois and bounced around the American Midwest and China serving as an archivist. He studied microbiology at Purdue University and medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. The need for decisive action to treat acute cases and having an immediate impact on the public health both inside and outside of the hospital drew him to Emergency Medicine. Fred enjoys dancing Argentinian tango, hiking, bicycling, cooking, and training martial arts.

Hello! I'm a Georgia peach from Augusta, GA. I went to college at University of Georgia (go dawgs!) and medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. My clinical interests include simulation, pediatrics, and medical education. Outside of the hospital, I love to create food art and graphic design, discover the best restaurants in South Florida, and travel to national parks around the world.
I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I went to University of Western Ontario where I graduated with an Honors Bachelor in Medical Sciences. I moved to Florida to attend medical school at Nova Southeastern University. I grew up playing many team sports, mainly hockey, and found a strong parallel between the required skills and teamwork of sports and Emergency Medicine. I stayed in Florida to avoid frostbite.
