The application process for residency can be daunting but highly rewarding, especially if you match with us at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.   

 

Aventura Hospital and Medical Center participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and only accepts applications through ERAS.

We like to see applications as soon as possible, so please ensure that all your information is correct and current when you apply.

 

Your completed file should include the following documents:

• ERAS Residency Application

• Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE)

• Three (3) Letters of Recommendation

• Official Medical School Transcripts

• Official USMLE Transcript Step 1 and Step 2 (when available) OR

• Official Comlex Transcript Step 1 and Step 2 (when available)

• Curriculum Vitae 

• Personal Statement

 

All materials should be forwarded via ERAS.

 

Please DO NOT fax, email, or mail applications, they will not be reviewed!

 

Deadline for receipt of all required documents is NOVEMBER 1st.

 

Interviews will be scheduled by invitation after the application file is reviewed by the Program Directors. 

 

As a reminder - USMLE/COMLEX scores, medical school transcripts, and letters of recommendation are the most important pieces of information needed early in the application process.  Your examination scores are not automatically distributed by your Dean’s office.  Please ensure that you request your score to be sent with your application materials.

 

INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE REVIEWED.
